Our coaches use video swing analysis software and teaching aids and offer personalised coaching for YOUR game.
Brett Maxwell – Brett is passionate about everything golf and is one of the most respected coaches in Brisbane. As well as being a PGA Teaching Professional, Brett is also a master club fitter, recommended by all of golf’s leading equipment companies. Brett is also recognised for his golf repair and club construction and having previously run his own successful club construction business, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Virginia Golf Club. Brett is also heavily involved in junior development, holding clinics for our up and coming juniors every week. Brett coaches beginners through to elite level representative players and other Golf Professionals. Brett takes the time with all of his students to work on not only the technical swing but also includes the fitness and physical aspect into their program also as everyone has differing abilities and limitations. Brett believes that it is not just the work you do on the range that will improve your game but the amount of physical and flexibility training you are willing to add that makes the world of difference.
Corey Jeucken – PGA Professional – Corey has been a PGA member since 2010 and joined our team here at Virginia in March of 2011 to complete his time as a trainee. In 2012, Corey started branching into coaching and assisting with the many Junior and Ladies clinics that we hold here at Virginia Golf Club. His roles and responsibilities at the golf club include repairs, coaching, assisting in junior development, customer and member service. His willingness to help and sense of humour have made him a very popular figure at the club.
Art Rienstra – PGA Professional. Art has been a PGA member since 2015. Completing his traineeship in 2018. Art has over 15 years experience in the golf industry. Learning his trade under the guidance of many top level PGA members. He is a certified club fitter and expert club repairer. His time as a coach here has seen him build a solid reputation with our members and guests. He is kind, generous, patient and very understanding of the differing needs of all golfers.
