Trial of Change to Men’s C Grade Monthly Medal from Single Stroke to Single Stableford- Saturday 25th May, 2024.
Following a recommendation from the Club’s Match Committee, the VGC Board have approved a Trial of a change to the Men’s Monthly Medal for C Grade, which is playing handicaps 19.0 to 36.0 inclusive, to play Single Stableford instead of the traditional Single Stroke for the Monthly Medal Competition to be held on Saturday 25th May, 2024.
This is a Pace of Play initiative to be trialled for this day, and will be COMPULSORY for ALL Men’s C Grade Players. The Winner of the C Grade Monthly Medal will still qualify as usual for the Medal of Medals Final in November from their Stableford Score on Saturday.
Members should note that there is NO Change to the Men’s A and B Grade and Women’s Division who will still be playing Single Stroke.
Entries will open as usual at 5.00pm on Tuesday 21st May, 2024.
