The R. W. Wilson final round has been completed and the results are in. In a tight up and down final Curt Mathews and Mark Shaw have been victorious winning 2 & 1 over Rob Gaunt and Craig Kennedy, this secures their fourth R.W. Wilson Memorial Match Play Final while winning in 2016-17-18 & now 2023.
The only other pairing to have won four R.W. Wilson finals was Herbie Grunow and Greg Webb in 1996, 2000 – 06 & 09.
