VGC member, Ross McKellar has organised this day to be played at Virginia on 5 December, 2022.
All funds raised from the event will be donated to Zach to support his qualifying ambitions on the Australasian, Asian and Korn Ferry Tours.
The response has been excellent with some 122 players confirmed (49 of the 50 carts have been booked). There are a few places still available, and if you wish to play please contact Ross ( email: mckellar1953@gmail.com ).
The event is a 2 ball aggregate stableford with AGU’s to apply. Registration and payment Is from 10.15 am on the terrace with a 12.00 noon shotgun. Cost is $65 including a sausage sizzle prior to play. Available carts are $35 shared. A drinks cart will also be operating.
Prizes for the day include VGC Pro Shop Vouchers for the winners and runners up ($600 in total), NTP’s on all par 3’s (1 Dozen Balls ), Long Drive – Hole 13 – A, B and C Grades (1 Dozen Balls), 2nd shot hole 10 for the ladies, Door Prize (Leg of Ham and Carton xxxx).
There will be a superb raffle with tickets being sold on the day (13th tee), and prior to the event. Posters detailing the prizes and ticket costs are on display throughout the club.
The prizes include: Sealy Posturepedic Queen Size Mattress (including delivery in the Brisbane Metro Area), Brother Colour Laser Printer, Bosch Power Tools – 18 Volt Drill and Impact Driver, Childrens Bicycle, Titleist TRS Driver, Titleist Midsize Premium Bag, Odyssey Putter, Footjoy Golf Shoes, Alcohol – 2 cartons xxxx, 1 carton Great Northern and Bottle of Johnnie Walker.
The raffle will be drawn by VGC staff at the conclusion of play with the winners being announced at the presentation. If you are unable to play, please support Zach with the purchase of some raffle tickets which will only go to help make the day a success.
