Virginia once again hosted the 2022 Wayne Grady Cup today and this event was played over 36 holes as a stroke event. There were 75 players teeing it up over the gruelling 36 holes format and with the sun coming out after lunch the afternoon was a treat for the players. The scores were low and the result went down to the wire.
After the first round Harry Takis (VGC) shot 4 under par the low score of the morning 67 two shots clear from young Royal Queensland golfer Grace Rho with a great score of 69. In the end Harry Takis with local knowledge proved to strong with rounds of 67-70 total 137 was to good for Dillon Hart with scores of 70-70 total 140 just three shots off.
