We write to update members of the upcoming Breakas Beach Resort & Merlo Coffee Pro Am to be held this year on Monday 25th July. We welcome Merlo Coffee as a naming rights Major Sponsor along with Breakas Beach Resort who have supported the Club & the Pro Am for many years. Merlo Coffee’s sponsorship has enabled the Club to offer increased prizemoney for this years event which should attract higher calibre professional players to join the field
The morning time sheet for the Pro Am will be released at 5.00 pm, this Thursday, 14th July.
Playing fees will remain as per last year at $60 for members & $80 for non VGC members (includes lunch). There will be, as usual, significant prizes for each of the par 3’s for a hole in one as well as NTP prizes (amateur players only). There is very keen interest in this years event so we would encourage members to get their groups together and book in as soon as possible from Thursday. Entry fees are payable in advance through the Golf shop after you have booked in to the sheet.
Lastly, we are on the lookout for volunteers as spotters on the par 3 which is fun to do for an hour. Please let us know if you can spare an hour on the day to help us out as a spotter, and a cool drink on us following.
