The second round of the R.W.Wilson Match Play is complete and with the quarter finals next week the remaining matches are sure to be competitive.
The bottom half of the draw saw Chris & Steve Heinrich make it through with a good win 5&3, where they will meet Jordan & Jeff Daley who also had a win 1up. Ross Laughlan and Barry Dickens also had a win 4&2 and will take on Trevor Lancaster and David Trappett who won 2&1.
The top half of the draw saw Rowan Fletcher and Kaleb Shortland win 4&2, while David Holtham and Mark Rushton got up 3&2. The Remaining matches saw Neal Button & Subhash Chand take on Paul McConville as a single player and from all reports Paul played out of his skin to take the match to the final three holes where Neal and Subhash just scraped in 2&1. The final result saw Brett Ardley and Ray Knudsen win 2&1.
