Dear Members, an update on course conditions and expected play from tomorrow Friday & over the weekend.

Firstly, both the Heritage 9 & Driving Range will be closed until at least Tuesday next week (inclusive). Whilst the Heritage course has again been impacted by this weeks weather, the closure on Monday & Tuesday next week is to allow works to over sow greens to be completed. Heritage Members are invited to join Main Course social & competition play over the closure period (Frid-Tues) subject only to time sheet availability.

The main Course will be open for play tomorrow Friday including the Friday ‘Niners’ followed by ‘sip n chip’ afterwards. All welcome to join in this fun event.  There is a likelihood golf carts will be available on the Main Course tomorrow, members are invited to call the Golf Shop from 6.00 am to check availability of Carts usage on course tomorrow. If carts are permitted, there will be restriction on usage (as per commentary below) as there will be still some damp areas on course.

At this time, we expect Saturday & Sunday competitions to proceed as normal. We also expect carts will be available to be used on course over the weekend, albeit with the usual request that members who wish to use a cart are asked to use common sense and not drive in obvious wet spots on course, stick to the rough as far as is practicable, away from green fronts and bunkers etc. In the event there is any change in this advice, we will text members on the weekend time sheets with any updated information.

Tony.
