Dear Members,
We hope that everyone is OK after last night’s weather event. At VGC, there is very significant inundation of both golf course and also significant loss of trees and a lot of debris on course. We will endeavour to repair the course when access is available, at this time there will be no golf for at least a few days, we will keep members updated on course opening arrangements. The clubhouse will be closed on Monday but will reopen from Tuesday am for coffee, food and beverage. At this time, lower areas of the clubhouse incl Pro Shop have not flooded, our biggest risk of flooding appears now to be the tomorrow’s high tide.
We will issue a further update and advice re courses on Tuesday afternoon. We hope everyone is and remains safe.
