September has arrived and with that the Men’s Club Championship first round results are complete, the event will be contested over the next three weeks ending on Saturday 28th.
A Grade Gross: Well things look ominous as Steve Sinclair heads up the leader board with a first round score of 74 but not on his own as Greg Tagg also posting a 74, both are two shots clear of Nathan McGrath Burgess on 76. Can Steve make this his 11th title win in this event, what an achievement that would be? Results can be seen here.
B Grade Gross: Sam Mountford and Warren Clegg both share the lead on 83, its a gam packed leader board so like C grade looks to be a good fight for the top spot after next week. Results can be seen here.
C Grade Gross: Dave Holtham had a good start to his Saturday with a solid first round of 86 leads by four shots to Tigar Halliday, Bob Kidd and Chris Bayley all with good rounds of 90. Things are set for a great second round in C grade. Results can be seen here.
Junior Gross: Hamish McKnight leads the juniors after a first round score of 81, just two shots clear of Harry Malcolm and Peter Rose after both shot 83. Results can be seen here
Senior Gross: Steve Sinclair and Greg Tagg both head the seniors with first round scores of 74. three shots clear of Doug Chalmers and John Livesey both on 77. Results can be seen here
A Grade Nett: Sam Young leads the A Grade Nett with a solid score of 68 but just two shots clear of Jesse Sweeney, Ben Whittaker and Doug Chalmers all on 70.
B Grade Nett: Barry Dickens and Noel Podlich share the lead both with great first round scores of 69 nett.
C Grade: Dave Holtham is on top in the C Grade nett with the round of the day finishing on 67, two shots clear of Bob Kidd, Damien Griggs, Harry Black all on 69.

The Heritage Curlew Cup has also started with the results after round 1 complete. Shelley Banks and Peter McDonald share the lead with both finishing on 32 Nett, with Ian Prideaux and Peter Norris just one shot behind on 33 Nett. The full draw can be seen here.
