Well mother nature sure did put a show on today with some brutal windy conditions for the final round of the 2024 Men’s and Women’s Club Championships. Wind what wind! that’s what Steve Sinclair said after his final round of 69 two under par for a super convincing win and Steve’s 11th title win in this event. Steve finished the four rounds with scores of 74-71-72-69 total 286, five shots clear of Ethan Anderson with rounds of 79-69-70-73 total 291, also a solid effort after four rounds.
Since 2004 Steve has made this event his own winning 2004-05, 2014-19 and 2022-2024 what an effort and one that will be remembered for a long time, a great win Steve.
The Women also contested their Club Championship played over two rounds of stroke play. Young junior Abbie Cook has finished as the Women’s Champion after scores of 94-88 total 182 Abbie finished four shots clear of IVoni Maguire with scores of 90-96 total 186. Rose Pullinger and Narelle Ward both finished in third place with scores of 188. The full result can be seen here.

B Grade : Subhash Chand has continued his good form throughout the four rounds with scores of 92-85-83-83 total 343 a winner by eight shots from Kieron Lawley 85-92-86-88 total 351. The full result can be seen here.
C Grade : Dave Holtham scraped in to finish in front with scores of 86-92-97-97 total 372, a good win Dave. Bailey Smith finished second just two shots of the winner and with scores of 96-90-97-91 total 374 gave it a solid go in the end. The full result can be seen here.
Juniors : Hamish McKnight has had a solid win in the Juniors after shooting scores of 81-79-78-78 total 316 nine shots clear of Peter Rose 83-80-81-81 total 325, Well done Hamish. The full result can be seen here.
Seniors: Steve Sinclair has dominated the Seniors with a solid win with scores of 74-71-73-69 total 286 finishing twenty two shots ahead of Greg Tagg 74-77-79-78 total 308 and a further seven shots back was John Livesey 77-79-80-79 total 315. The full result can be seen here.

A Grade : Sam Young has won the Nett with scores of 68-75-69-74 total 286, six shots clear of Matt O’Leary 74-73-78-67 total 292. Full results here.
B Grade : Lance Dewberry 74-73-70-73 total 290 has won the B Grade nett just two shots clear of Pete Chynoweth and George Roy both on 292. Full results here
C Grade : Cooper Black 75-70-73-75 total 293 has lasted to win the C Grade nett from Sheva Chae and Chris Bayley both on a final score of 300. Full results here.
Curlew Cup : Ben Copeman has taken the Curlew Cup with a total nett score of 131 after four solid rounds, a winner by seven shots from last years winner Ross Wotherspoon on a total of 138. Well done to Ben on his win in the event. The full result can be seen here.
