18 year old Ethan Anderson a VGC Member for 4 years, Scored an amazing 58 in his Competition Round from the White Tees on Sunday 15th September, 2024.
Ethan on a Handicap of Plus 2 , scored 47 points in the Club Single Stableford Competition, with 11 Birdies on Holes 1,2,3,4,7,8,10,11,12,14,17 with an Eagle as well on Hole 13.
Ethan completed the Round with 6 Pars for a clean scorecard and a fantastic day’s golf.

Ethan who won the Club’s Junior Championship in 2023, and is currently running second in the Club’s A Grade Event behind 10 times Club Champion Steve Sinclair, had a day earlier scored a 69 in Round 2 of the Club Championship.
Congratulations to Ethan on behalf of VGC, for this incredible Round of Golf, which whilst it cannot be recognised as a Course Record as it was played from the White Tees, will be recognised in a formal way by the Club later this year.
As a result, Ethan’s handicap has now moved to Plus 5.7.
