VGC Championship Events in September, 2024
The VGC Championships will commence on Saturday 7th September over 72 Holes until Saturday 28th September, Grades will be A, B, C Grades, Seniors, and Junior Boys.
The Curlew Cup Championship will be held on the Heritage Course over the same period with 4 Rounds of 9 Holes.
Only Financial Members of VGC will be eligible to compete in these Championship, Whilst Points Members are eligible to compete in the Daily competitions, they are ineligible to win any Grade of the Club Championship or the Curlew Cup.
On Sunday 15th September, the VGC Mixed Foursomes Championship will be held over 36 Holes, with the Winners decided on Aggregate Gross scores. Prizes will also be awarded on Net for both aggregate as well as the AM and PM rounds in this event. Entries for all of these events will open on Tuesday 3rd September.
The Women’s Weekend Club Championship will be held on Saturdays 21st and 28th September, 2024, with the Junior Girls Championship being held on Saturday 19th October, 2024.
These are feature events on the VGC calendar, and I look forward to eligible Members supporting these events again this year.
