The VGC Winter Cup Foursomes is a NEW event this year and will be held as a Shotgun Start from 12.15 PM on Sunday 21st July, 2024, over 18 Holes.
This Event will provide the opportunity for Members to play this alternate Shot Format, which is usually only available in the Foursomes Championship events.
The Golf will be followed by a Club Dinner, with a Christmas in July Theme. ALL Member Categories are eligible to enter this Event, and prizes will be awarded for the Winners and Runners Up, in the three Categories of Men, Women and Mixed Teams on Nett Scores. The Lowest Nett Score Overall on the day will be awarded the VGC Winter Cup for 2024.
The Entry Fee , which includes the package of Golf and Dinner, will be $ 35 per Player. This is a Pre-Paid Competition with the Entry Fee to be paid at the VGC Office, NO LATER than TUESDAY 16th July, 2024.
Members should note that as the field will be limited in capacity due to the available Daylight in July, entries will not be confirmed until payment is received. After that date, Members on the Waiting List will be offered a place in the field, to replace the unconfirmed/ unpaid entries.
Non- Playing Family Members can also attend the Dinner at a cost of $ 28, which also must be pre-paid.
It is expected that this will be a very popular Event and I encourage Members to Book on-line quickly when Entries Open at 4.00 PM on Tuesday 25th June, 2024.
Come early on the day and watch the concluding stages of the Men’s Pennants Matches at VGC versus Ashgrove Golf Club. the Bar and Bistro will be Open for those Members that wish to purchase Lunch and drinks before the Game on the Day.
This Event promises to be a great Members’ Day out, and we look forward to Members supporting the New Event this year.
