The Captain’s Trophy Round 1 was contested along with the daily Single Stable event and after a cool start to the morning the conditions certainly did favour all players today.
In the top half of the draw saw the number 1 qualifier Garry Fraser continue his good form winning his match against Damon Flood 5&4, while Mark Chaplin also had a big win 6&5. Other winners in the top side were Craig Hall and Matthew Taylor. In the bottom half of the draw saw Darren Shepherd winning 3&1 against George Roy and other winners were Fraser Isbel, Lance Dewberry and Matt O’Leary.

Single Stableford results
A Grade : Michael Henderson has had a solid 40pts to take A grade with Nick Harley one back on 39pts R/up.
B Grade : Chris Hunter has also finished his round with a great score of 42pts, two shots clear of Damien Ryan on 40pts.
C Grade : Tigar Halliday has taken C grade with a solid score of 39pts, one shot clear of Ben Rowlatt R/up and a conglomerate of players within 3 shots of the winning score.
Women’s Winner: Lee-anne HAMLYN was a clear winner in the Women’s event with a solid score of 40pts, well done Lee-anne.
Heritage Winner : Went to Hannah Cundy with 22pts ocb to Langdon CONDON also with 22pts.
