The first round of the 2023 Medal of Medals has been completed, this event is played in both the Men’s and Women’s format. The event is played over 36 holes and the player with the best Nett score after two rounds is declared the winner.
The Men’s leader after Round 1 is David Campling with a solid score of 65 nett. The leader board can be seen here.
The Women’s leader after Round 1 is Noelene Stoney with a first round of 72 nett, Anita Bradford just two shots back on 74 Nett. The leader board can be seen here.
We also had the VGC Junior Girls Championship contested this morning. The result going the way of Jemima Baldwin with a great round of 80 to take out the overall winner, R/up went to Zayetta Brady with a score of 100 and The best nett went to Ava Latimer with a score of 78 Nett.
