With the fine weather back conditions were made for good scoring today during the February Monthly Medal Single Stroke. Results below.
A Grade : Greg Tagg won with a solid score of 65 nett, two shots clear of Bryan Cooke on 67 nett.
B Grade : Subhash Chand 66 nett ocb from Robert McGufficke a close one in C Grade.
C Grade : Michael Baldwin with a score of 63 nett defeated ocb Pauly Hage on 63 nett.
Women’s results : Amity Vercoe won with a great score of 68 nett, well done Amity. Kea Schwarz won the Women’s gross with a score of 83.
2023 Summer Cup was also played in conjunction with todays Monthly Medal and Members didn’t disappoint with some great scores posted. The Summer Cup is an Honour Board event played over 36 holes of Single Stroke, the best 8 gross scores in each grade A, B & C will be seeded to compete in the second round next Saturday February 25th with tee times being between 10:53 – 11:28am 1st tee. The Summer Cup 36 hole gross results are also qualifying rounds for the Club Match Play Championships. The top 8 gross scores in each grade will qualify through to the match play phase of the event over the following three weekends with the first round starting on Saturday March 4. Those members wishing to qualify will need to circle a YES on the score cards next Saturday and the draw for the Match Play will be available at the close the event.
