Virginia Golf Club will once again host the Wayne Grady Cup on Sunday 2nd October 2022. The event will be an Open 36 hole stroke play event with a shotgun start at 7:00am & afternoon from 12:00noon also as a shotgun start. This is a Golf Australia & Order of Merit Event (Handicap limit Men 7.4 & Women 11.4)
The Wayne Grady Cup will be played at Virginia Golf Club on Sunday 2 October, 2022 over 36 holes of stroke play.
A Tournament Committee has the sole management and control of the event. Any decisions made by the Committee are considered to be final.
Entry fee members $55 & visitors $70, this includes a Banyo Burger & chips in the clubhouse between the first and second round. The event is open to all amateur golfers with a current handicap not exceeding men’s 7.4 & ladies 11.4 at the time of entry. Golfers must be a financial member of a golf club.
The field is limited to 96 players. If entries are received in excess of this number, a ballot will be undertaken with players on the highest handicaps subject to elimination.
The event will be a shotgun start with the first round commencing at 7:00am and the second round at 12:00pm. The draw will be published on the Virginia Golf Club website (www.virginiagolf.com.au) and on the Golf Australia site on Thursday 29 September 2022.
