Dear Members, a further update on course conditions.
At the moment the golf course remains very very wet and is unplayable. Both courses are effectively closed until at least Thursday afternoon. As a result, all competition play scheduled for Wednesday & Thursday including the Thursday Club have been cancelled.
A further inspection of the course will be undertaken on Thursday afternoon, after which a member update will be provided in respect of Golf on Friday & over the weekend.
The Clubhouse & bistro remain open for lunch & drinks.
As an aside, whilst we all know how wet it has been, just to confirm this, we thought members might be interested to know that we have received 2000 mls or 2 meters of rain since 1st January. Like all, we are hoping for some much better golfing weather over the next few months.
