Dear Members, an update in relation to play tomorrow & Sunday. Fair to say we are all pretty fed up with the recent weather.
A course inspection will be conducted early tomorrow am. Members booked in for tomorrow will receive a text message following the inspection to advise the state of the course, use of golf carts etc and/or any variation to planned competition play.
In the possible situation that either the course is too wet to play or that golf carts may not be able to be used on course tomorrow (which is now very likely given rain to date this afternoon and the forecast), the scheduled Major events planned tomorrow will be again postponed and will have to be rescheduled. Should this be required, we will endeavour to hold a ‘walking only’ single stableford event tomorrow but this is also, obviously, subject to weather.
As above, a text message will be sent in the am to update further. A decision on Sunday play will be made either late afternoon tomorrow or early Sunday am. Again, if any changes to competition arrangements for Sunday, members on the booking sheet will receive advice via text.
Irrespective of the weather, the Clubhouse & Bistro will be open both days, all welcome!!
