A quick reminder about a few big events coming up over the next two weeks. Saturday April 9th Family Day, Sunday April 10th Members 36 hole Foursomes Championships & Women’s Weekend Foursomes Nett Event and of course the Masters at VGC, Monday April 11th.
Saturday April 9th Family Day 2 person Ambrose, so get a family partner and take on the 2 person Ambrose.
Sunday April 10 will see the Members 36 hole Foursomes Championships return, The Men’s tee times will be 6:06am – 7:23am as a rolling start off the 1st tee as groups of six. Competition fees are $25.00pp , there will be lunch options available with registration so be sure not to miss out on ordering early and enjoying lunch prior to starting the second 18 holes. Prizes will be awarded as follows 36 hole Gross Winners, 36 hole Gross R/up, 36 hole Nett Winners, AM & PM Nett and NTP’s
Sunday April 10 the Women’s 36 hole Weekend Foursomes Nett event will also be contested, Competition fees are $25.00pp also with lunch options available at registration Tee times for this event will follow on from 7:32am – 8:00am also as a rolling start off the 1st tee also as groups of 6. Prizes for the event are Nett winners, Nett R/up, Gross, AM & PM Nett with NTP’s.
Monday April 11, The Masters at VGC, to all Members and Guests come along Monday April 11 and help celebrate with a champagne breakfast & golf for the 2nd edition of the Masters at VGC, enjoy a champagne breakfast while watching the closing 9 holes of the Masters. Following the completion of the Masters we will all contend for VGC’s very own Green Jacket.
The event will be a 9 hole single stableford with a shotgun start on holes 10-18 around 9:30am ish? the club house will open at 6:00am with breakfast starting from 7:00am. Members $35.00pp and Guests $45.00pp, there will be plenty of novelty holes, with NTP’s all all 9 holes and lots more. Members and visitors unable to make it to the breakfast but just wanting to play golf can do so Members $15.00pp and Visitors $25.00pp (Golf Only)
