Dear Members, a quick update on Course conditions for play tomorrow. The Heritage 9 has again been flooded in parts following rain the last 2 days. The Heritage competition tomorrow has been cancelled and motorised carts cannot be used on the Heritage Course tomorrow or on Sunday. The Heritage course remains open for walking golf over the weekend but is currently very wet in places. Heritage members are invited to join the Main Course competitions over the weekend subject to time sheet availability.
Competition play on the Main Course will proceed as scheduled over the weekend, motorised carts will be OK, members are asked to avoid obvious wet patches, to drive in rough areas where possible and to remain on pathways where provided, (and not drive on surrounds to greens such as the back of the 4th green which was damaged by carts last Thursday). This advice is of course only subject to any further rain over the weekend.
Please also be aware that from Monday 7th February, green renovations will be undertaken on the main course, we hope to have the Heritage Course available for competition play (and cart usage) at least from Tuesday.
Tony.
