As many will be aware, our traditional VGC Opening Day is being held on this Sunday, 9th January. Due to the current situation with significant escalation of cases of COVID 19 in the community, after consultation with Directors, we advise that the planned dinner after completion of Golf will be cancelled this year.
Pre Golf drinks and Member’s Sausage sizzle and the Las Vegas Scramble competition will proceed as planned, but the Club is of the view that it would not be prudent or common sense to hold a dinner for 100+ members at this time.
The Opening Day competition fee will obviously be adjusted back to the standard $12 as a result of this decision. Tony.
